Story
Hi there! I’m Annika Mays, the founder and designer behind Junia Design.
​
After pursuing an interior design degree, I spent several years working in the high-end residential design/build world. That experience gave me a strong foundation in both the creative and technical sides of designing a home.
​
My love for interiors started long before it became my career. Growing up, I was constantly rearranging furniture and redecorating my bedroom, discovering early on that a new layout or paint color could change everything. Trust me... it really can!

Junia Design specializes in virtual interior design, helping clients create thoughtful, personality-driven homes no matter where they live. The name Junia stems from a latin name associated with youth and vitality, something I think of as bringing fresh energy into a space. I’m drawn to moments of bold color, vintage accents, plants, and layered textures. I believe every item in a home should either be loved, serve a purpose, or ideally both!

My main priority will always be to create a home you are proud of through an easy and enjoyable virtual experience.

When I'm not designing, you’ll usually find me trying a new brewery with my husband, walking our dog Sam, or thrifting for vintage treasures.
